Why is it so wrong if a girl proposes to a guy?

Ok I have read some comments on a young girls question. And why is it so wrong for a girl to purpose to a guy? The guy saves money and if they love eachother it shouldnt matter who purposes to whom??!!!

I actually think its a good idea for girls to propose to guys... its just fair...since we are making everything equal I think this should also become of equal opportunity...
but its always been an unwritten law for males to propose to females, I think its just dumb, if you feel like it do it. period.

it isnt wrong in any way...its just like a girl asking a guy out...its not heard of that often but eeryone knows it happens...and it happened to me once...which gave me the courage to ask someone else out a year later

yeah I dont think its wrong either I posted the question because I was on here looking around becuase im new to this and a young girl had so many bad comments putting her down and everything becuase she wanted to ask her boyfriend to marry her. im here making a statement that what guys can do girls can do better (just a song but you know). what guys can do girls can do its fair!!...
just becuase were female doesnt mean we dont have the right to ask the one we love to marry us, if they say no its no if they say yes, well congrats!!!... haha

yeah girls can propose to guys, especially if the guy is too shy to do it himself, But it shows confidence and lets him know youre serious, not a problem, I would do it :P
