Why is my friend and her mom treating me like this?
Last night, my friend was bugging me to read my story that I wrote. I asked her to get on AIM so I could give her a URL, because it was posted on the internet, and once she got on, she had changed. I told her I had to be quick because it was like, 10:00 my mom and I were going to watch So You Think You Can Dance (on TiVo, we were camping and missed it). I sent her the URL for my story, and all of a sudden, she goes, ‘Gross I’m not reading that’ I asked why, and she said, ‘because I don’t feel like it. It’s not like it’s going to be published anyways, I mean, it’s probably bad.’
I left her alone for a while, but then asked if she’d just read it and tell me what she thought because everyone else read it and said it was amazing. She said no she didn’t feel like reading crap. I asked if her if her mom knew she was treating me this way, and she said ‘yeah, my mom is right behind me telling me what to say’ her mom yelled at me for sayiing crap..but she said it. I’m not sure what to think. Does anyone know what I can do?
My story is about an 11-year-old girl who gets pushed around in school, and after being pushed a little too much, ends up meeting David Cook (corny, I know), who (after a flood) invites her to stay with him and the other idols when one night something happens and they wake up 15 years old. Lol it’s hard to explain.
