Why is my ex still asking and talking about me?

Ok, so we were together close to a year. We met at our house actually, we were neighbors. So, we dated for awhile and he told me that he loved me and blah, blah, blah. Important info: He was going through a divorce. Anyways, we really had a lot in common and had a lot of fun together. All of a sudden he started acting different and hateful toward me. We broke up and got back together for several months then he totally broke it off with me. I was heartbroken! He was really mean about it. Well turns out he started 'hanging' out with a girl that he met at my house! A few months after we were over, he took me to the side and apologized for everything he had done to me. He said that I deserved better than him. I guess it was sweet, but whatever! Now, here we are two years later and I have run into him a few times and we chatted and are nice to each other. Oh, by the way the girl he met through me, yeah he married her. The last time I talked to him he had just got married and he wouldn't tell me! I kept bringing up weddings and he hid his hand so I wouldn't see his ring. Oh, well, I now have my life together and I live with my boyfriend of a year and I am happy. My friend told me that the last time that she went out my ex asked her how I was doing and started apologizing to her on how he treated me. Why? It has been two years and he has already apologized to me. I am clearly over it, or I wouldn't talk to him if I wasn't! What's your opinion on this?

Sounds like he's not over you... he sounds like a complete jerk too. I feel sorry for a woman who is married to a man who loves another. I'd say he was hiding his ring finger to see if he still had any chance with you.

Anyway, he comes across as bad news- good riddance to him, girl!
