Why is my ex dating my double!!

ok this is really bugging me. my ex and I broke up after like 8 motnhs, he dumped me and we still liked eachother for a few months after and then he met this new girl, she looks like me and is sorta like me in personality too..anyways he made a huge...

deal about how he likes her better than he ever liked me even though shes not as pretty as I am (yes he actually said that about her).as long as he;s quot;likedquot; her theyve never been on an actual date and hes never made a move, so what the heck is he just trying to bug me! If he wants a girl like me then why not me!! what can I do about this...

There could be all kinds of reasons why your X might date a girl who looks like you. It could be as you#039;ve implied--he got a girl who looks like you, but not as good, and he#039;s not intimate with her, never been on an actual date, etc. . .

Or

It could be he was 1st attracted to this girl because she reminded him of his X, and she might not be as outwardly pretty--but she#039;s oh so beautiful on the inside, and he hasn#039;t actually been intimate with her because he has so much respect for her and doesn#039;t want to mess anything up. Right now, he#039;s just hanging out with her, taking it slow, hoping it lasts.

That#039;s the thing--you can#039;t know why. And you can#039;t 2nd guess. And you should be moving on. And why you know or think you know so much about your X#039;s habits is not healthy.

Leave him alone to live his life and you move on with yours.
