Why is it so bad for muslims so have sex? what happens to them?

im muslim, but not full, so my parents arnt that strict.

but my friend is full 100 % muslim, and shes not aloud to have sex or date or even kiss a guy AND shes not allowed to go out ANYWHERE, after school she has to go STRAIGHT home and she cant go outt...

on sat. or stuff likE that.. why are full muslims SOO strictt?

It is only bad if they have sex before out out of marriage. This is because sometimes it is thought that sex should only be had in order to make a baby and not for pleasure.

It's not that they can't have sex for fun, they can, the sex life of a Muslim couple is no different from the sex life of a Christian couple, etc.

The reason is the exact same as in Christianity and Judaism.

You can't have sex before marriage, thats all. And it's because you're only supposed to commit to one girl (or man).

its not that you cant do it, you can. nothing will happen to you, but most who are dedicated to their religion feel guilt if disobeying what they believe in

It's a cultural thing. And most religions and conservative cultures object to premarital sex. Historically it makes sense, there was no protection and women ended up pregnant. Reducing their chances to get married, and since all women were good for were to get married and have children, well that kinda put a dent in things.

Uhm because women could get pregnant and men couldnt? Also most are highly patriarchal societies.

Fornication is having sex with PROSTITUTES, having sex before marriage is not adultery either.

Islam is a religion, not a race. So, in my opinion, there is no such thing as half or full Muslim.

A Muslim is required to obey God and His messenger Mohamed.

God said:” O you, who believe! Obey Allah and his Messenger and turn not away from him (I.e. Messenger Mohamed) while you are hearing…” Quran(8, 20)

God also said:”…And whatsoever the Messenger (Mohamed) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it). And fear Allah; verily, Allah is severe in punishment” Quran (59, 07)

God also said:”And whosoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger (Mohamed), and transgresses His limits, He will cast him into the Fire, to abide therein; and he shall have a disgraceful torment” Quran (4, 14)

Obeying the Messenger means, following his commands and staying away from what he has prohibited.

The prophet said:” All my followers will enter Paradise except for those who refuse to.” They asked, “O messenger of Allah, who will refuse?” He replied “Whoever obeys me will enter the paradise. Whoever disobeys me has refused” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

That being said, Islam entirely forbids sex outside marriage (which includes adultery, fornication, and prostitution). It’s even forbidden to date.

God said:”And come not near to unlawful sex. Verily, it is a Fâhishah (I.e. anything that transgresses its limits: a great sin), and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him)” Quran(17, 32)

God also said:”Successful indeed are the believers, those who offer their Salât (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness, and those who turn away from Al-Laghw(dirty, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden), and those who pay the Zakât, and those who guard their chastity (I.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts, except from their wives or (the slaves) that their right hands possess,- for then, they are free from blame.) Quran(23, 1-6).
