Why is it people like to see others sad ?

Why is it people enjoy others pain, as in others being upset ? Why would people wont people to fell upset ? People full well know the best felling is to be happy ect not to be sad so why do people make others sad on perpuse?

There are people who are like that and some who aren't. You can NEVER say that all do though. Because that is simply not true. I do not enjoi seeing others sad, so I will always be willing to help. Unless there is an utterly rediculous request of me.

People take pleasure in other people's pain. If they see you in some kind of drama, it makes their own mundane life seem not so bad. Human nature for some.

if people are happy when others are not then that means that they have an insecurity that they are trying ti hide so they make fun of others. instead of trying to make the person feel better, they want to laugh at other people. there are just bad people like that and I think it is so sad. ITS CALLED KARMA AND IT WILL COME BACK ON THEM!!!

I really don't understand some people, its like they don't have a heart or something.
Like when people bully and abuse animals, it kills me inside. I cry a lot.

They are insecure, they have problems of their own and it makes them feel better about themselves when they see other people having a hard time.

theyr just mean but not evry1 is like that.

some people are just too insecure that they laugh at other people even though they're in pain to make themselves feel better. it's their way of overcoming their own insecurities. but don't worry, people like that aren't going to end up better than you.

As others have said on here they are not at peace with themselves.Insecurity and anger issues#1 and to cover the pain they suffer form.A person that hasn't found A LOVING higher power for themselves,TO KNOW LOVE IS TO GIVE LOVE AND TO SHOW LOVE YOU SEE LOVE!!!All you can do is pray for those people and avoid being around negative people like that so you don't become depressed with it.

Maybe its a form of revenge for past struggles or hurts. Easiest way to love is to enjoy people, when you see them

maybe THEY'RE sad and they want people to be like them so they don't feel lonely!! and they feel happy when they see people who are like them!! but in the end, they need someone to talk to!! or they might end up being BAD BAD people!!

cause they are sad and sadness spreads even if you hide it.people also fear what they dont understand and tend to lash out.its a part of human nature controled by serotonin levels.
