I am going into year 7 in 2010 and I really like this guy. He is my age and we talk all the time, we get along great. We are really good friends, but of course I like him more than that. In the holidays I have missed seeing and talking to him a lot! He is a nice guy and thats probably why I miss him. A part of me says to like him and another says not to. Because I think he likes my friend also I still am annoyed at the beginning of the year when he asked me for advice on how to ask out my bestfriend, one of my friends says I should ask him out but I don't want to be humiliated if he doesn't like me! But he always smiles at me and when I am alone he'll talk to me.
chances are you are probably right. If you still want to try to get him to like you, id start off very slow. See if he wants to hangout with you outside of school, but dont make it a date. Spend a lot of time with him and talk to him often. I wouldn't get your hopes up though and not focusing on just one guy may make that easier.
