Why does my vagina smell musty and hpw can i get rid of it?

Okay why does my vagina smell? Smells musty but I am pretty sure it is not in infection because I had this smell way before I had sex. Since I was like 7. My new discharge smells good but sometimes it smells musty. Plus my discharge is allwasy clear....

Sometimes the sides of it itch though. My underwear is like brown inside but I went to the doctor and nothing is wrong. What should I do? I heard that doucheing is bad so please don't say that? What else...I don't really take baths but when I do the smell is gone for a while but then it comes back. Please help!
