Why does my sims 3 say "sims3launcher has stopped working"?
I been trying to get onto my sims 3 game for the past half hour and everytime it says sims3 launcher has stopped working and it says it as soon as the welcome page pops up. Do I need to re-install it? And if I do will I loose the stuff I downloaded for it and my sims I’ve made in the game??
uhh no 1st of all agent223 I wasnt trying to import celebritys I was trying to figure out how I could CREATE celebrity sims. GAWD people. and I finally was able to get into the sims game eventually I think it was just a lil glitch or something.
This is most likely because you must’ve tampered with the software’s critical files, as denoted by the fact that you were looking to import a celebrity character in another question. I would uninstall, and remove any files left by it. Then, reinstall and not ever mess with those files again. Best of luck.
I’ve neverr played the sims so I cant be 100% on this…
but in the install folder you should have a players folder or something with all the stuff you made in it…
or it might be in your my documents
its all on your hdd somewhere ;)
try putting the sims 3 disk into your drive and re-copying the launcher to the install folder
is your firewall letting the launcher out?
try this::
right click the launcher icon and choose properties then under the shortcut tab choose advanced and uncheck that user box
