Should I tell my mom about my abuse?

im 16 and someone in ma family has tried having sex with me seen I was 5 thats not right is it they have now stopped but should I tell my mum bcoz now me dont like being arond him

Honestly,,I'd tell your mum!
This guy may try and do it to younger reletives and what if he suceeds that time,
he obviously has a problem I'd tell your mum asap.
It may be hard but at least it'l be out in the open!

OK, I think you should b/c that is serious. It's not right for someone to do that, no matter how old you are. I think you should tell her b/c you would feel a lot better. if you ever have any problems, you can e-mail me, ok... hope this helps...

YES TELL YOUR MOM! Someone in my family was doing the same thing, sence I was about 7 and a half ish. I am 16 now and I just told my mom last week! She is so mad at him, but she wont be mad at you! Its not your fault and they shouldn't be doing that! Just sit her down, and tell her. I was trying not to tell my mom, but it slipped out at dinner one night, trust me! it was the best thing I have ever done! It got so much weight off my sholders. Tell her about your sister to, even if she doesn't want you to. You need to! He might go and do it to someone else, so you should tell her so that wont happen! And so he doesnt try anything with you anymore.
