Why does media player comes up on startup?

Media player keeps on coming up when I start my computer and I don't want it to.How do you get off.

I use freeware 'Arrange Startup' - works great - the download I on this page: http://smartpctools.com/products/

Microsoft wants you to use their products so they make the program come on at startup on default. The easiest way to turn this off is to use a program such as tuneup, or advanced windows care, to change the programs that come up on startup.
