Why do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?

Hey im very curious about this so can you please answer my question,
Why is it that you need your girlfriend or boyfriend in your life, besides having them help with your problems.

Because you have someone emotionally close to? It really sucks if you live your whole life being single I'm still on that road I have yet to find the certian someone.

People need a boyfriend or a girlfriend because it gives you a 'purpose' you're able to spend your life with someone I mean who has to say that we were destined to not share our lives with a special person to make us feel like our world is complete and our lives would be so much happier. I know I may sound like a panzee freakin queer right now but I am comfortible with my sexuality. And love is a wonderful thing, I mean why the hell would you want to miss out on something like that for the rest of your life??

Well I'm 18 and never had a boyfriend and I can say is I'm one of the saddest people around. All of my friends have a significant other and they are always happy. All in all, I think people have a boyfriend/girlfriend because they make each other happy.

Oh dude I've had boyfriends and every single one but my first fuc*ked me over bad!

people want to feel loved and wanted. they want to spend time with someone who loves them and will cherish them and make them feel special.

It's nice to have someone around who loves you in a special way.
Your friends can help you with your problems, but having a boyfriend/girlfriend means having a special connection with someone...

well, not having a girlfriend in the past year made me pretty depressed. im usually a happy person
