hahaha WOW I wonder who said that,I know Australia is just like the US just different name. Sorry to laugh but I doubt any country would ever be that way,the sh*t holes are probably if you just can't afford the water bill or a toilet.

People think that because they are stupid! No really, I'm serious. If people knew how aggressive kangaros can be they wouldn't think that! But, that would be really cool though, would't it? :-)
Plus, it is the same here in America, people think that if you live out in the country you must be a hillbilly or a redneck!
People just don't think before they speak most of the time.
Please don't offed us semi-intelligent people by saying that all Americans think that.

Some people are just like that, some just try to act like the people on CNN,they try to talk and sound smart when they really aren't.

lol. Ok so I live in Monatana, and several of my friends have traveled quite a bit. They have been asked all sorts of things like 'do you have running water', 'do you ride horse to school' 'do you have electricity' 'do you still have to watch out for Indians?'

The sad part is people are asking these questions being 100% serious. I guess people just get stereotypes stuck in there head and are to ignorant to realize they are BS

You think that is bad. lol. I live in Africa and for some reason people REALLY think that we live in the wild and own pet lions and elephants etc. No jokes. lol.

It's just something to get used to. Also not all Americans are like that, you can't really put everyone under the same blanket.
