Why do some people think teens can't fall in love

I hate when people tell me that tewens can't fall in love why do some people say that

I don't think that you're too young to fall in love...anybody can fall in love at any time or age in their life. I think what these people are trying to say is that...if you haven't experienced life outside of school then you're not ready for a grown up kind of love...when you're young sometimes you don't really know what it takes to keep a relationship alive. A lot of teenagers fall in love and then get hurt and move on but when you're married with kids and get hurt you can't just move on, your relationship and love need to be stronger to get through everything.

Teenagers can fall in love, but that doesn't mean it's the kind of love that makes you really go through hell for someone, it doesn't mean it's the kind of love that will last till you're old and sagging, it doesn't mean it's the kind of love that will withstand going through a financial crisis and it doesn't mean it's the kind of love that can be expanded to include a child.

Because your at such a young age/

so being in such a young age doesnt mean anything but! I'm like in the middle because.. I know that thru time you will understand stuff better!! But I also fell in love like when I was 13 ..!!! LOL well but every thing has a moment so you should wait till your a little bit older and understand stuff better! LOL goodluck! and yeah you can b in love at a young age but its not the perfect time to b in a relationship! = )

I disagree with sidn3y123. even tho people think were young, it's ok to like someone. I bet you liked someone when you were a teen. and btw, we're not that young.

they think that because they say were to young and some guys like playing girls , and we end up gettin hurt by them , thats why they tell us to wait . but thats for some teens , people fall in love at different ages. it doesnt matter. as long as you know the person you love really well , and know you wont get hurt by them

Because they think that when you're young, you aren't experienced enough to know what love is. IT might also be a way to keep you from having sex at a young age. I don't really know. Maybe you should ask whoever told you you are too young to love anyone.

Teens can fall in love, it's just a lot of teens think they are in love when they're really not. They're just very deeply infatuated.

Falling in love as a teenager is possible, it just has to be for the right reasons. You can't love someone because you think they're hot. That's what happened in Romeo and Juliet and we all know how that ended. Haha.

Falling in love as a teen has to be completely selfless. To love someone means you will do anything for them (as long as it won't harm either of you [if that's the case then the person probably doesn't love you]) and you care about their overall well being. Don't be confused with obsession though.

Teen love happens, it's just hard to tell the difference between love, obsession, and infatuation.

They think that we are too yung. But you know what I do believe that we can fall in love but I've made mistakes and sometimes it can be a mistake to fall in love whit someone like they are going to be there for ever!

But sometimes we just expirement and we don't know what we are doing!
I have done things and sometimes I do things that make me tink that sometimes that is right.
But for the hart there is no command to when to fall in love/

My friend is a great example for this question. He thought he was 'in love' about 12 times thru out high school.

The reason people think that is they have a lacking on experience and have trouble telling what true love is, not just puppy love. With experience comes knowledge...unfortunately a bit to late to help you out :P

You know what I always find funny about these questions. It's as if adults skipped the teenage part and were always adults. Did you ever think that 'people' were teens at some point? And perhaps they've learnt that love at age 13 is not the same thing as love when you're an adult, and is not likely to last? Everyone thinks they're different. But very few people are different.

Im 16 and I've been in love for two years. I spend every waking second with my boyfriend and were so perfect for eachother. I KNOW im going to spend the rest of my life with him.
