Why do people spell words wrong on purpose?

Is it considered cool to look retarded? I know people who do it arent retarded but it is annoying knowing that some people go out of their way to not spell words correctly. In my opinion I think it makes you look so stupid. Just giving some advice.

I dont know why, I miss spell words, but I DONT do it on purpose its because its the word I need to use but not sure how to, or I just typin away and its by an accident, but yes I agree, I understand people cant be perfect when typin but really if ya cant spell right or just bein plan stupid, stop makin yourself look like a retard and stupid and stop...I agree with you people, its really annoyin

I can understand when people will make some words shorter but some people just go out of their way just to spell something wrong. I just find that kind of annoying because I start thinking this person must be some young child who is thinking it is cool to look ignorant and our children shouldn't be thinking that

Yeah I find it annoying as well. My teacher was telling us that its just the evolution of language. I said screw that!, if that's the future of verbal/written language then I don't want to be a part of it; I'd rather die than purposely make myself sound like an uneducated idiot
