Why do people keep asking if they're pregnant?!!

Why do a lot of people on this site ask could I be pregnant if... ??? Go to the docter or take a pregnancy test! The people on this site are most likely no more knowledgable on the subject than you yourself are. Also theres no point in asking could...

I be pregnant if we had sex and we didnt use protection but he pulled out? !! OF COURSE you COULD be pregnant if you had unprotected sex. But no one on this site can give you a definite answer.
So WHY do people keep asking?

Most people are just looking for reassurance. If enough people say it's possible, they'll go get the test done.

If the question bothers you,you have the right not to read it or answer it.
You don't have the right to tell people they shouldn't ask.

They just come on here sometimes to vent and like ichibanarky said, for reassurance. If you dont like it, you dont even have to pay attention to it. You dont need to critisize others for asking questions, I'm sure you've had your share of annoying questioins, too...

Maybe they are afraid, and in hopes of someone helping them cope with their situation, or simply just need a little advice from someone who is willing to answer a simple question! Good Luck to you!! people keep asking because they just don't know how sex works or what its purpose is.

because most of them are uneducated about sex and things like pregnancy and sti/stds
there not sure exactly what can get them pregnant and what cant
because there souces like the media, magazines, internet, friends, ect all give out usually wrong and unhelpul information
like pulling out works, certain positions wont get you pregnant, you cant get pregnant on your period, blow jobs can make you pregnant, ect, ect
all that unhelful and false information leaves them uneducated and clueless if they are or not
so we need to tell them to learn more about sex, use condoms, see a dcoctor and perhaps ask the doctor to get them on birth control
sex education isnt exactly something they teach properly nowdays either
school teach you prectically nothing
while places like churches only say dont do it
which is the WORST thing you could say to someone whos going to have sex at some point, they need education, they dont need perople telling them not to do it and not explaining what it is and the risks involved

People are idiotic and shouldnt be having sex because they apparently had a really lousy high school education or they fell asleep during sex ed...

Ha...Ha very good qus.I was going 4 the same if you wont.these girls knows everything this was not there first time having unprotected sex.everytime they having sex they need to know are they pregnent if you are not sure everytime take a pill.

I agree, I think its stupid. if they are that uneducated about sex then they shouldn had jumped in bed together. theres a thing called common sense. use it. I understand not all knows the same but thats why God gave us doctors and thats the reason for health classes in school. why ask here for reassurance? youre not gonna get the real answer here, only guesses. go to a doctor and know for sure. im sorry but I think its stupid to ask, I know questions run through your mind when things happen, but be smart and go to where you can get an actual true answers instead of the internet.

Also to whoever it is who took it personally up there thinking that this question was aimed at them: you're wrong. Its aimed at everyone because its a general question. I dont care that YOU asked if you are pregnant, I care that you are one of MANY and actually I hadnt even seen your question when I wrote mine.

Btw. If I thought I was pregnant I would just take a pregnancy test, go to the docter or look up that am I pregnant? health quiz. It gives you a percentage on how likely it is that you're pregnant based on your symptoms and your last period etc...so maybe try that if you think you are too?

Oh I forgot to say, if you are so immature that you take general questions personally and tell someone to stfu or whatever because they asked a question then you:

A) spend too much time on this site.
And
B) are NOT mature enough to be having sex.
