Why do people get ulcers?

I got one at the moment ... And its really painful! Whats the quickest way to get rid of it and why do we get them ?

And is there a way to stop them from being so painful? X

Hmm... my dad gets ulcers a lot...they can be caused by bacteria... but it really depends on where you have them. Taking aspirin and eating spicy foods can make it worse (if it is in the stomach, esophagus, and intestines)

urm well there is this bonjela stuff that you can put on olsers but its the same as putting a dab of tooth paste on it, that drys it out and then it starts healing. x
