Why do people ask these kind of questions?

U know questions like...

What's the capital city of Indonesia?
What is oral sex?
What is the official language in India?

I mean ... are you guys trying to quiz us or something?

I have always wondered why too, but I guess some people's parents may have like some sorta parental block on the computers in some cases.

Wikipedia is not a very reliable source. Anyone can post anything on there. The problem is, most people think b/c it's and online "encyclopedia" that it must be true. So if someone posted that the sky is green and the grass is blue, would it be true?

I think people just like hearing the answer and opinion of other people.

perhaps just to get a response, like a child fishing for attention, or maybe they need a answer for homework.why ask why : P

You know, either they are quizzing you, or they really want to know what these things are and how to do them. Or they are just simply retarded and want attention from others.
