Why do people desire what the cant have?

Why do people desire what the cant have?

B\c people who have everything still want more, and are selfish, b\c then thir taking away from people who have nothing.

they wish they could have it but they can't have it!

If you mean like, why do people want a really nice foreign sports car when they know they don't have $350,000 for it, then the answer is: because even though they don't have what they need to get it, that doesn't change the fact that it's a very nice and desirable thing.

cause when they can just have somethin its easy but when they cant have that somethin they want it and need it. if you mean like someone else? ya I've been there. done that.

Hmm everyone wants things that are out of reach because they're desirable and therefore special (e.g. expensive car, house etc), because if it is desirable, lots of people must want it, and if people want it, then it must be a good thing...

We are humans, we will ALWAYS want what we can't have. We will always hate those who have what we do not have. And it's all logic from there...

because it is a normal thing. and everybody does it, including me.

Speak for yourself. Not everyone's all selfish and everything.

It's fun to imagine...?

Because people like to reach for what is beyond our grasp. And people who think these certain people are selfish, shut up. What do you think dreams and goals are? Like trying to make a world a better place. Now THAT seems impossible. But it just might, and we'll be amazed what'll happen then.

Listen (or rather, just read), I'm not defending the people who have wrong dreams. Those need to face justice. I'm just defending the ones that have good goals. We clear?
