Why do parents do this?

Ever since I was a little girl I've cleaned a lot its like compulsive Cleaner I enjoy it. well my brother NEVER CLEANS. My parents complained but They never did anything about it. WEll School work and everything MAkes me tired and SOmetimes I dont clean. They GET upset with me but They never CARE what my brother does. Its Like FAvoritism.?/ do you think ? or am I insane.

no because they are use to you cleaning and when you dont do it they get upset

I def do not think its favortism at all. I think that they just rely on you because they know that you are responcibal. Which also means that you are mature in their eyes also, thats why It seems to that they are a little harder on you. Dont worry just sit them down or at least one of them and tell them how you feel. Im sure they will understand especially since all parents want their children to do good in school. O and ps (I was always the cleaner too) It wasnt easy and I used to get very upset with my sisters, buy hey litle things teach a lot of tolerance and maturity..keep your head up hun!!

You need to reread your question...they do complain to your brother but he choose not to do it. They complain to you as well. Do you choose then to do it? There is no favouritism there.
