They are probably right about you being gorgeous. But I remember being a kid and a teenager, and only seeing the bad things about myself. Other people noticed the things they were jealous about - I had long, blonde hair for example. But I only noticed that I was shorter and not as thin as some of my friends. I think it's quite normal in your teens to notice the bad things and ignore the good ones. The people who see you every day honestly have a better view of you than you do! You'll grow to believe them in time, so long as you relax a bit - it looks like amblessed has given you some good advice on that.
