Why do I feel like this?

Why do I feel like there's no point in achieving anything if at one point in everyones life we will all eventually die?

Everyone feels that way at some point, you're not alone. It's not about achieving anything, it's about contributing what you can to make your life fulfilling to you. Eventually, you'll figure out what contribution you want to make, what role you can be content with and hopefully that will be enough. Until then, keep asking the hard questions; they'll shape you.

Honistly I think you feel that way couse its true unless you work really hard for somthing big and inportant that will have you remembered forever just like george washington or martin luther king jr. Or somthing that isnt even that big. Just somthing that will have you remembered but at least one person for somthing that you did that changed their lives for the better. And I beleive that the more people you touch will also touch you. Couse I mean isnt that why we live is to do great things then we die. lol just dont do somthing that will have you remebered in the hitler catagory.

we all feel like this sometimes... but you know it's a way to waste time until you die and make a family.

I felt like that because I was depressed and mostly I think I was just confused about what I wanted to do with my life weither it be the military or college or what I just thought well whatever I am going to die anyway so what's the point, but I think it's normal at certain stages of life to feel this way, but you'll get over it. It may just take time, just hang in there and you'll do good.

Sounds like the pessimistic side of you taking over - fight it off, get out there and make a difference, especially in someone elses life...that'll turn it around !!

yep I've thought that many a time

if there isnt a god and no afterlife and stuff like that then when you die etc what next and if you dont do something then whats going to happen e.g. homework if you dont do it does it really matter it doesnt affect anything etcetcetc but I guess that you have to do your best with nothing! dont worry about it we've all felt like that xx

funadvice: if you dont fail though you suddenly feel powerful and on top of things so try hard and the feeling is wonderful! if you dont try the multiple failings will just make you feel worse and worse so try and you'll see the difference it makes xx
