Why does it bother me that all they care about is them selfs?

There is so many things going on in this world and all you can think about is buy more crap?
I KNOW YOU CANT HELP EVERY ONE AND IM NOT ASKING ANY ONE TO AND ITS OK TO PAMPER YOUR SELF BUT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOING GOOD THINGS FOR YOUR SELF AND SELF OBSORBED

haha its because your smarter than them and you wish they could see the world in a more non-materialistic way like you because basically, their stupidity annoys the sh*t out of you. like they need to see beauty outside of money, clothes, hair and makeup

im pretty spolit and im not stupid I work with new born babies up to 4 years old sum times 5 an 6 and I put a hel of a lot of work in to succeeding all my qualifications am belive me!! it WAS HARD WORK!! an to get where I wanted to be took a lot of time an effort!!, an im still doing courses now to improve my qualifications! I may not be able to spel but im good at my job!!!

I feel the same way, it's not just you.

It's not really my business if someone else is spoiled, but it makes me mad, because I wouldn't beg my mom and dad for everything I see, because that money could be used for more important things in life, like Donations to Animal Shelters or wildlife organizations.

My friend who is a bit younger than me gets everything he wants. I mean, everything! Basically. I tried to keep my Video Games I do have secret from him because he'll want to play them and if he likes it he'll buy it. And I'd like to have something of my own without everyone getting the same thing.

Sometimes I feel Jealous because I don't have everything he does. But I have more. My parents educated and guided me about the Value of a dollar and responsibility. And in the end, it makes me feel better then having a Purse, or every Game Console out there!

Someday when those Spoiled, arrogant kids grow up, they won't always have 'mommy' and 'daddy' let them have everything off the racks. They'll have to earn it themselves.

I've been spoiled all my life and my kids are spoiled! you cant say you hate everybody thats spoiled.cause im spoiled and im not a bad person.

and people that work hard for things barely get anything at all in return...

like I get things I want like most people but usually I have to wait til I make my own money or else for my birthday 2 c*m around...but usually I beg for it an I get it...but dats just 4 things like choclate LOL,, not laptops...and I tought I was spoilt!!!til I saw all these othr comments!!!

A lot of them are really stuck up and its just like "would you just shut up for 2 seconds" my goodness... I find them so annoying sometimes.

From the time we are born, we are brainwashed into thinking that wealth and material possessions are important. Who does this brainwashing and why? Everyone wants to get rich. Making a living is not enough. The American Dream. Wealth and fame. Advertising, shoved down our throats. And it works, because humans love to worship. They worship movie stars and pop singers, serial killers and debutantes. Men see themselves when Brad Pitt jumps off a roof and lands on his feet... women want to look like the ones that strut down the catwalk, covered in diamonds and furs. Newspapers sell because everyone wants to know what Britney's doing.

Scientists and charity workers are not worshipped.

The good news is by the time you're 50 you don't give a rats a$$. Some of your friends got cancer in their 40's and they're gone. The rest of us have finally realized that it's ok to not own a late model car, it's ok to not have the latest cell phone, it's ok to not have bought one single new item of clothing for the last 7 months, and everyone's stopped looking at you so it's ok if your purse doesn't match your shoes

My definition of spoiled? It's when you put more value on material things than you do on the welfare of people. So some of you above, don't be too quick to say you are spoiled. I think you mean -- "I never had to struggle to afford anything." Right?
