Ever since I was real little I've had these horrid headaches. Doctors tell me its migraines. I've never been tested for anything so I'm not sure. I constantly get headaches. They start off small then get really really bad. They last a week. Sometimes more.

I've gotten so used to migraines that I cant feel headaches well.

Anyone know why? Or what It could be?

Migraine headaches are accompanied by, or follow visual effects. Those can be distortions, shadows, shimmering, tunnel vision, or others. I know a young lady that gets the first 3 of these. I get distortions and shimmering.
If you have horrible headaches WITHOUT visual effects you are probably getting cluster or tension headaches. You may need different meds for different types.
THERE ARE MEDS TO DULL THE PAIN, AND MEDS TO PREVENT MANY OF THE MIGRAINES FROM HAPPENING.
Don't let your doctor tell you he can't help.

Good Luck!!

You have migraines because of your nutrition. I always used to have migraines and took medicine and shots for them. The medicine wasn't healing and vey bad for you. Doctors only treat the symptoms, not the cause. I started eating only raw fruits & vegetables and all my headaches have gone away. I haven't had a headache for 14 years.

Headaches can come frm a number of things other than migraines and still occur often. If you have sinus issues and feel pressure in the face and forehead. for that you could use any sinus headace medication or some sudafed. You can also have stress or tension headahes. They usually start from the neck and work there way up and are brought on by stress of course. Then migraines tend to last longer but you should notice a sensitivity to light. As far as over the counter meds Excedrine has a pill for each sympton and tends to work for me better than anything else. Hope you feel better

yea I have had a migrain for 2 months and everything is just getting worse and to be honest with you nothing has helped me and I have had these since I was 6 so I know... but everyone is differant and there is prevention meds that a dr can prescribe and maybe one might work for you... and there might be some connection about why you get them but there might not you really should get them checked out but I wish I could say that there is a miracle drug that works but even if one works now it might not work in a few months it all depends... well srry this probably wasnt to helpful but good luck...
