Why do guys hit on me online only?

How come it seems like only guys online hit on me?
In real life.. it's like no guys would be like telling me I'm hott.
When I was in Cali, I caught guys checking me out.. but back here.. no one. haha.
Online its like dang..

Why is that?
Is it because people cant really judge me online?

No it's easier to type somthing then say it. I get hit on online LOTS.. and only some times in real life.

I agree with 'xxlovehurtsbabexx'.
Its so much easier to say things online because its just in front of a screen, oppose to it being in front of someones face. Their reactions don't matter so much online, its a lot less awkward.

online the person who hits on you doesnt have the fear of rejection
online they can say anything without getting hit in the face...

its kinda like proposing to a girl by SMS you dont have to see her and you can make an excuse saying 'I was kidding' or something similar...
and you can never see the reactions of the person

You probably present yourself as more beautiful and confident online and maybe not so much in real life. That could be it.

like xxlovehurtsbabexx and steph, I guess it's simply because those guys that tell you you're hot online are just to shy to say it up front... or wouldn't know how'd you react...lol awww... but honestly, you've gotta heart shy guys =P

wow I have da same problem I don't know why exactly I guess its because you just take very good pics and its easier 4 people 2 say all those things onine instead of in person usually im a shy person myself and I dont really pursue girls that much maybe dis attention just a lil new 2 you and your probably not used 2 da attention but I told you your were beautiful lol
