Basically eithre to ask another girl out, or so they do not have to spend any money, or maybe they have there own reason, I think it is a douche type thing to do.. anyways. yup.

Maybe cause if they liek a girl they get really nervous, amybe they think that if they dont get you anythign or get you somethign you liek that you will dump them, and they thinik that if they dump you first they feel lessembarrassed/
