because "big boys dont cry", it's a society thing... boys are treated different from the second they are born... they're supposed to be big and tough and not show their emotions... they're just brought up in that way...
they did this study where they showed grandparents this baby. They first dressed the baby up in blue and told them that it was a boy. Then dressed the same baby up in pink and told them it was a girl. When they thought it was a boy they described the baby as "active" "strong" "big" and when they thought it was a girl they described the baby as "delicate" "passive" etc... now this is the day after the baby is born, there are no obvious gender differences and the baby's already being described differently, so can you imagine how it's going to be treated? from the minute it's born?
Us women are more emotional then men because we have different hormonal changes then men.
We cry because that's how we can get our emotions out. Yet, I've noticed some men cry as well. We all have emotions. Some men show their emotions more then others. Others don't want to cry because they probably think they're big babies if they cry and they're not strong enough. It's normal and natural for us to cry. If we didn't cry, we'd be having problems.
Us women can't help it. I know I can't help it either when I'm emotional and need to cry. That's just our nature.
