Why do girls always go after the bad boys...

Just a random question that popped in my head. I've noticed a lot of girls decide they want guys who are bad and cause a lot of trouble. WHY? They usually treat them like crap and a lot of the bad kids at my school at least smell bad and never take showers and so on and so forth. What ever happened to dating the NICE guys? who actually bathe and treat women with respect, who love to treat her like she's the only one that matters. I hear girls say that they want that type of guy all the time but they never end up wanting it after they start dating them. I don't get it...

At the beginning they aren't the bad boy, they are the breath taking charmer then once they get the girl they show their true side but the girl is already head over heals for him and doesn't want to leave him.

well seeing as how im a girl I know about this ill tell you about it, Girls feel like bad guys are the ones who would stand up for her no matter what in a fight and the girls find it hott! but its only a faze I use to be that way till I learned to experiance a real gentlemen and yes they still stand up for you no matter what but they take care of themselves better and have respect aswell...a girl will usually snap out of the bad boy loving thing once she experiances a real gentlemen.

the bad boys seem to have more fun and know HOW to have more fun.

I guess a girl that wants a bad boy is just used to the bad boy type or sumthin I never really got it either I guess its just there "type" lolz

well honestly and I cant belive im saying this but through my 21 years of being a women I've noticied that some women like to be treated badly.they like the guy to be mean and a jerk but those women are idiots and you dont want to be involved with those women so my advise to you is treat a lady with respect and care for her and if shes drawn to you for those things then she s a bright lady you would want around. and if not then shes an idiot who will only bring you trouble

although I kinda agree that bad guys have a general appeal to most girls, myself included; my friends and I are smart enough to realize that they are only like that to get the girl. I'm dating a gentleman and I know that it's way better than any "bad boy" would treat me. for every girl that likes a bad boy, there's like three that still lve a gentleman that treats her the right way

We girls like the bad boys! We want somebody fun and wild! We don't want someone who is boring and such a... well let me explain!
They are nice but they are also wild! They are more protective and won't let anybody hurt you! You can have a lot more fun with a bad boy and they are hotter!

Lol, I'm going with a couple of people above. I personally dont get it, but I know it's why my friend's fall for bad boys... It's fun and exciting. Nice guys are supposedly dull... I personally think my friends have awful taste, but there you have it...

alright let me start by saying that im married and have been for almost a year. but me and my guy have been together for almost 5.

I didnt. I mean. my husband was the nice guy, the one wiht all the friends who were girls. the one in the musicals and on track and soccer. but not football. the guy that other guys made fun of. but hes such a sweet guy and he cares about me, not what I look like or what im willing to do for him, and thats what really won me over.

Who doesn't like bad boys? There fun and exciting and they don't always treat women badly! Like alota girls I no like boys that they can't have which are the bad ones who do wild stuff and no how tew have a good time.Now obviously that's not always the best type of person tew have a relationship with but I think alota girls have hadda thing for a bad boy before! I no I've had mi share of bad boys but they never treated me bad I mean I'm not that stupid tew stuck around in a bad relationship.But anywhoo nice guys are also good but sum girls like myself needa little excitement in there life but I think its just a teenage girl phase! lol

I like bad boys but like the prankster/class clown type not like major cussing rude jerks. I don't know its just a girl thing I guess
