Why did the country singer Sarah Evans quit the show Dancing with the Stars?

Sara just recently filed a divorce with her husband, Craig. Supposedly, he was accused of verbally assulting her, watching porn at home, and having countless pictures on his computer of his acts of adultery. Sara said that she needed to leave the show so she could give her three kids her full attention at this difficult time in her life. Her final appearance on Dancing With the Stars will be October 17th. I just don't get why anyone would do this to someone as pretty and talented as Sara Evans...
