Why did he just leave?

I was friends with this guy for the school year and I did like him. I finally told him that I had feelings for him but he didn't feel the same way. We stayed friends because friendship was more important to me. At the end of the school year he said that we would hang out because he was leaving for college. A few weeks pasted and I decided to text if we were still hanging out. He first says "I don't know maybe later but you won't like me and I will hurt you." Second time I talked to him he asked me if I would cuddle with him. I asked him why would you cuddle with someone you don't have feelings for? He said "I never said I didn't." I tried to talk to again but he wanted to get rid of me so he dropped me as a friend saying I get mad to much as an excuse. I fight to keep him around. He asked me "what would you do if you saw me in the shower alone?" I asked "why would I be there?" He says "we can't be friends goodbye" I called him and he still told me goodbye. I now haven't spoken to him in over a month and concerned that I may never see him again. Even though the college is local . Anyway I want a better understanding of what happened? Please can someone explain so it can finally be put to rest.

he didnt comit suicide I hope not and maybe hes just I don't know but keep trying to get a hold of him to make sure hes all right

for someone going to college, it sounds like he's pretty immature to me.

Wow, I think what happened was he didn't feel the same feelings about you at first, but then he got feelings for you later, and tried to hint it, but you didn't get it and you were still upset that he didn't like you, so, he got frustated. He'll probably come around sooner or later, don't question it though, because of what just happened, just enjoy it.

I think he needs help to me it sounds like he could be sicotic (spelt so wrong) he could have scitsofrenia (also spelt wrong but pronounced like it) its where he has more then one personality and when he snaps into the other personality mode he doesnt remember a thing that his other personality mode does or says...suicidal thoughts also tend to happen with this, he needs medical attention to find out if that's what it is because if it is it can become a lot worse...keep trying to check up on him and tell him to go to a doctor if you can and just prey he didnt hurt himself.
