Why did funadvice start?

Why was funadvice made?

to give people advice who have no one else to turn to.

um for fun, boredom, and those tircky questions which you are either too embarassed to ask or peolpe can't answer. for diversity of opinions, sometimes people are more comfortable asking people on here than, let's say their loved ones. sometimes people just need to be reassured, or want to know how others would go about a situation.

To help people out with different situations.. I have 3 others ALSO.

Honestly?

Ericson & I started it when my wife was in Nepal for vacation with her family for a few months. So, we wanted to do something "forum esque" b/c we both had a bit of experience in building & running forum like sites.

Initially, we focused on love & relationships, we had five catgories. However a while later we realized our mistake and added more categories...

of course, now we have the other problem of being able to find stuff in a given category, so "narrowing" is on our list.

And our idea, initially, was that we could, somehow, do it *better* than other sites were doing it...this idea has evolved a bit over the last 5.5 years, but that's the core of it
