Adding to what thedude said, we have been experimenting with it easier to post questions.
Here's the thing, someone who is not a member of the site can ask a question, but it gets put in a pending queue, and a link to activate the question gets sent.
What was different, was that the pending questions were visible on the site, when they should not be. We've made them not visible until the user activates their question.

Why can't i view certain questions?
Only recently, I haven't been able to view a great deal of questions or select them. It says this question is still pending and goes straight to my homepage. Before, if a question was in pending status, it meant it hadn't been answered, but never...
before did it mean I couldn't view it. What's going on?
