Why can't I add fonts?

I downloaded fonts, and it used to let me add them to my fonts folder.

Now since I've got my new folder, its not.

I have windows vista now, is that the problem?

I use fonts from dafont too, but I have a mac.
I think you need to download the application 'fontbook' so that they actually go somewhere..
