Not all animals are meant to be wild. Maybe in their natural state, but the domestication of many animals (ie. cats and dogs) makes it so they can't survive in the wild as much as they would have if we left them alone in the first place. Dogs derive from wolves, which can survive in the wild, but puppies? No way.
Pets, especially dogs are loyal creatures who love their masters. They can be fun to watch and play with and they give you unconditional love. It's a proven fact that having a pet increases your lifespan.
However it sounds like you (and especially the pet) would be better off if you did not have one.
_ I cant follow you on this one...
pets are pets, most are loyal and are a friend... it used to be a risky experiment hundreds of years ago when they were first bred but it isnt anymore.
I love dogs, and I dont understand anyone who would call them 'creatures' you are a creature yourself so why look down on the others? intelligence? every animal is intelligent in its own way you are not to judge them, iot isnt theyre fault they cant walk on 2 legs and talk and create weapons of mass destruction...
Ty...I LOVE your answers!!! LOL~
You're right...except it's been MILLIONS of years with dogs...Cavemen had them...
pakiprince31...you need to accept and then admit you're afraid of them...then face your fear and join in the fun!! Dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, even rats are great pets...they lower your blood pressure, give old people hope and allow them someone to care for...Pets in homes with children teach empathy for others, and relieve lonliness...they also raise children's immune systems...
All plus...plus...plus...no negatives that I can see.

Why are people attracted to creatures?
Or animals or pets as you kids call them. I can't stand these unpredictable creatures, they annoy me. Why do some keep them in their homes? It's just a dangerous and risky experiment if you ask me
