How can I make myself believe I'm not ugly?

How does someone who is 29 years old, and has had EXTREME low self esteem since age 9 (So 21 years) Start to think she's pretty???
I know I'm 'Butt dog ugly' but how can I help my self at least believe I'm at least o.k

First, you have to tell yourself you are beautiful. I am a fat girl and I went through the same thing for a while. If you think negative thoughts, you will feel negative. Pray to the Lord to help you feel better about yourself and he will. He is the only one that can truly help. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Physical appearance doesn't make you beautiful, your personality does. I bet you are one of the many angels in the world. God Bless and stay strong.

Start to see yourself as God sees you...Do you believe for one minute that God sees you as you see yourself??? No, of course not, he looks at the beauty within, and so should you. When you begin to focus on that, you will radiate from the inside out, making others pale in comparision to you.

Hey there. I know for a fact that there are people out there that aren't the best looking and if you think you are one of them the first thing to do is to change your look. Get a new hair cut or style it differently. Try on some makeup or go buy a oufit that makes you look at yourself and smile. If you believe that you are at least goodlooking for one day people will notice and soon they wil think you are good looking too.

Frist of all this whole ugly thing is in your head. Its how you think people look at you but really people don't just randomly look at someone and are like yea she ugly ... there may be 1 in 10 who do that and the people who think that are insercure about how they look they have to try and make someone look worse. Beauty is honestly such a joke... and it really comes down to personality. its hard to believe it but its so true. It's really tough because even though people tell you your beautiful your the only one who can believe it. Once you realize how to love your self people will be able to see how much they love you to. Lifes a b*tch but if you don't break out of catorgizing your self now you may regret it for the rest of your life Beauty is only skin deep.

I believe that you are what you think. If you are thinking that your ugly.. You are going to be ugly, and if your thinking that you are beautiful.. then you are going to be beautiful.. People who thing negative.. LOOK negative and vice versa..

I know this sounds crazy but its true..
Beauty is not on the outside.. Its on the inside as well.. And they work hand and hand with eachother..

Change your thinking.. Do things to make your self confidence go up.. Look in the mirror and tell yourself you are beautiful every morning if you have to..

Confidence is KEY!!

Awww! You arent ugly! My whole life I was told by girls I went to school with that I was ugly or I looked like a duck, rat, monkey or some other kind of animal. Now that Im in college, I realize that Im not the least bit ugly, there are actually tons of guys that like me and that elem,junior high, and high school it was nothing but jelousy! Everyone is beautiful in their own way. =]

The problem isn't whether or not you're ugly, it's the fact that you'd care.

Think about it this way: If a person is good looking, what does that do? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
However, if they are funny, kind, and intelligent, they can do anything they want!

Looks aren't important in the grand scheme of things. Good-looking people are a dime a dozen, but people with good hearts are rare.

If you really think you're that ugly just don't look in the mirror. Sooner or later you'll forget what you look like and stop caring.

LOok, if everyone in this world looked beautiful then everyone would be like 'im so bored of my life...' Besides, your not ugly. you are made from the image of God and if anyone dose insult you then they will be insulting God as well... SO really, no one has any rights to judge people according to their looks.
