Why am i so sleepy all the time?

I am 16 and I want to know why I am so sleepy all of the time. I usually go to bed at about 10:30 P.M. or 11:00 P.M. o'clock, and get up at 5:30 A.M. for school. I am always sleepy throughout the day and ready for a nap at lunch time. When I get home I...

go to my room lay down and sleep untill about 7:30 or 8. I don't want to be sleepy all the time but I don't know what I'm doing wrong so that I can feel awake.

it is may be because your are growing, teens are more sleepy because when they are sleeping there bodies grow faster

ummm maybe you are anemic (anemia lack of hemoglobin in your blood) maybe you should go do some blood tests , I had the same problem but I was way past the stage of puberty that happened whrn I was 18 maybe , if you are anemic I consider you eat a lot of meat and drink a lot of grape juice

maybe because you sleep too early...try going to bed at 12am and waking up at 7am, I doubt you would be tried by lunch time...or I dont really know, maybe it depends on your school time and distance or whatever.

you need atleast 8 to 9 hours of sleep before you've had enough each night. try going to bed at 9:00-9:30PM instead.
