Why am I so shy around guys?

I am comfortable around guys, somewhat.
But when I start to like them, I get way to shy and really
'little school girl' ish
Like
I will blush and laugh and giggle :|
Its very kinda badd?
How can I make myself a little less shy.
All my friends are so comfortable around guys.
Help?

OMG um I have the exact same problem. I try to tell myself it's just an ordinary guy around the one I like, but I get so nervous - ugh its terrible.

well im a guy and the only thing a can really say is, some guys like shyness, but if you really wana get rid of the shyness for urself and not a guy then I would say, just try your best to talk to them like you normally would with any other person and eventually you will get used to it, thats what I had to do because I was extremely she around girls (even girls I didnt fancey lol) just talk to them as an ordinary person and act confident just try urbest to be urself. (not too confident tho because he mite think you like to think of urself as a barbie doll and most normal guys dont like that) hope it helps, good luck
