Why am I so lonely?

I feel so lonely. I feel like no one really wants me? no one calls me no one really talks to me! why? all I want is acceptance and people to want to spend time with me. why am I always the onje who has to make the first call, suggestion, and effort? how can I cure my loneliness??

What you need to do is find activities that you enjoy and meet people that have the same passion and desire. Even maybe try to get a job in an area that may be of intrest of you. And even if you have to make the first call sometimes it is not always a bad thing, but, if you are always doing it you deffinatly need to find people that will be more like you. It seems to me that you just need to find some people that have the same views and likes. Do you go to church? if so maybe try to get involved in a church group. Same at school try to get involved in an activity that is right up your ally.

Did you ever think that you might be a leader personality? It is very true that the strong independent personalities are most likely the leaders in groups, makes the first call, has suggestions and good ideas and can stimulate others to do things. So, my friend, look up and smile because you are unique!

When I was going thru my depression a very dear friend on mine, who was my doctor since I was three months old, is the spiritual leader in my church, and my second Dad, told me that when people look inside themselves all they can see is the darkness that problems cause , but if you turn your eyes to heaven and keep your eyes on God (who is pure, holy, and perfect light) that He will fill you with His light and the darkness will fade away being replaced with God's glorious light and His peace. That's the best advice I ever got.
