Whole milk

my baby is almost 11 months and I know at 12 months you wean them from formula to whole milk. I wanted to go it at 11 months becasue I wanted her to be off of formula by a year because we really cant afford formula so we get it from the wic program and...

so would it be bad to wean her onto whole milk one month earlier

I did my daughter at 8months old for the same reason it is just really dear as long as the baby eats well on soilds there is no harm doing it at 11months old

I started at 11 months with my son. I added whole milk little by little to his bottle of formula for a month. By the end of the month he drank regular whole milk. I was advised to do this by my doctor so run it by your childs doctor first.

Yeah, do what the doc's tell ya for now. Whole milk has a lot of fat and she's a little to young for that yet--give her a little more time to let her digestive system develop as much as it can before you change it. Its only another mth--I remember those days, formula is **extremely** expensive!!
