Asked by aidenxx 3 months ago, 4 answers.

I just started working at mcdonalds about a month ago and I can't take it! I can't take doing the cashier and grill and having to rush around to get people's orders or rushing to lay all the meat on the grill. I'm turning 16 at the end of september;...

The supermarket isn't less stressful, it's just a different environment

The workforce is tough...if you can't stick it out at McDonald's, then you're going to have a hell of a time when it comes to being out in the real world and relying on your job for survival.

I actually work at a supermarket, and have for many years. When I was quite a bit younger I tried to work at Macdonalds, but just like you, I found the job far to stressful! I do agree with both of the answers that were previously given. Working with the public can be quite stressful no matter where you work. It is very unfortunate that because we are behind the counter so to speak, that some individuals think that this gives them the right to treat us badly and to take their stresses out on us. I did find it somewhat less stressful to work in the supermarket as a cashier then to work at Macdonalds though. I totally agree with cubsgirl23, apply for the supermarket job, but I would not leave your present job until you get the new position.
I wish you the best of luck!

If you don't like it, then work at the supermarket. You decide these things for youself, whether it includes more stress is up to you and your work ethics.
