Who wants another woodstock

The last woodstock was what, 7 or 8 years ago. I wasn't quite old enough to make it to that one. but I want another woostock to go to. and is it possible to through one ourselves. I've seriously thought about it. if we were somehow able to get enough media to announce it, people would just show up, hundreads of thousands of people. and I live in new york, where the first woodstock was throughn. the hippes in 1969 got together to protest the war. we have another war to protest people, and with that being the meaning behind this woodstock, I don't think there would be another riot if the point of this woodstock would be to protest the iraq war. its within our grasps to do it, we just need media attention and people would show up, that simple. what do you think

I think that's a great idea, actually - we have a war that should never have happened, we have a tanking economy, and we have musicians that (a lot of them, anyway) are complaining that they can't make money...but, those like nine inch nails are in fact making more than ever allowing people to get their latest album for free, legally.

Forward thinking bands should really jump on your idea...it's April, now, they could even do it in July if they started the planning & media frenzy now

but how do you gain media attention to announce it, because im serious. People might think I can't do it, but everything is done by people like me, im dedicated and all it takes is one person to act upon it. should I go down to my local news station and just announce it and hope it catches on or what, any idea's people for how to gain media attention

ok, thats what im talking about. this is going to take me a couple day's just to get organised myself, and I have some buddies that are crazy with a computer, because im not to familiar, I don't even know what a HTML is, so im going to have to talk to some friends. thanks thedude, I'll keep in touch because im not backing down from this now, it is possible. any other ideas people

good Idea but it will never happen. . . big Business wouldn't be able to keep it's nose out of it.

There will be 'another' Woodstock in Korea next month. Billed as 'Flower Power Festival'. Neil Young, Melanie, etc.etc.
