Earthshaking, a fire from the centre of the earth,

Will shake the towers of the New City,

As a result, two great rocks will fight a long war,

Until Arethusan springs bloody the river afresh.

A further clue to the location of the disaster is contained in the first line's use of the word du, which can mean either 'of' or 'from'. If read as 'fire of the centre of the earth', then the World Trade Centre tellingly springs to mind. Nostradamus's use of the term Cite Neufve (the new city), immediatley links 1/87 to the next quatrain in our series, 10/49 - 2001. Other similararities also grab the attention; the mention of rocks and mountains; the symbols of water and its poisoning, the first time with blood, the second with sulphur; and the Arethusan springs, at both Ellis and Syracuse

Bin Laden predicted it, but we ignored him.

If Nostradamus's 'prediction' is so clear, why didn't you warn us ahead of time? No one predicted 9/11 except the ones who planned it and did it.

It was predicted by Nostradamus, but like many predictions people talk about them but very few will listen, especially when it is one that far back.

The problem is also not knowing when are from who the attack would come from.

Nostradamus's quatrains are so vague that they can be twisted to apply to just about anything you want them to mean. No one said ahead of time that this particular passage meant a disaster like 9/11 in NYC. People are just reading into it after the fact.

PNAC (Project for a New American Century) didn't as much predict it as foment it. They did suggest it as a catalyst to reinstate the American Military into the Middle East/Central Asia. Go to WHATREALLYHAPPENED.com, ConspiracyPenPal.com, Infowars.com for the 411.

If we must embark for the glue factory, I would prefer to be blissfully unaware of my destiny too, but I'm not, and my only hope is to create a stampede of fellow enlightened cohorts, and tear down the corral gates.
