My opinion....Carrie Underwood, without a doubt !

Fantasia WITHOUT A DOUBT. She may not be the most popular, but she is the most amazing singer in our time, not just out of the AI winners. Unfortunately, the American public is filled with internalized racism and we are trained to only embrace Black singers with light-skinned, thin women with straight, blonde hair. Fantasia does not fit that mold, hence the reason she has not done well in the mainstream industry. She looks like a real Black woman and sounds like a real Black soul singer.
