WAS His mission? It still is...to save it and bring new life to all who call upon His Holy Name.

Calling upon His Name means that we have NOW decided to die to self and live wholly for Jesus to be master of our lives as He is the provider of everything that we need.

TODAY is the day of salvation. We have been justified many years ago, we just need to acknowledge that complete and perfect grace.

I agree with luvly and haleigh911,The main thing was he was here to spread LOVE,FAITH,COURAGE AND HEALING.HE IS STILL HERE IN SPIRIT !!! So,if you need guidance all you have to do is pray and spend quiet time alone with your thoughts and the lord and you'll find peace.

He is God's son who became a person to live on this earth. God wanted once and for all to have a forgiveness that wouldn't fall short because of us. His Son lived his entire life completely in God's perfect will. When he died, the beating and crucifix was God's accepted price needed to be paid for all of humankinds wrongs. God accepted this punishment for humankinds total forgiveness. But humankind was still spiritually dead. Jesus Christ rose from the dead to prove who he was and to provide something else. The answer to unconditional forgiveness. If you believe these things and ask Jesus Christ to come and bring His spirit to live in you, you will always be in a forgiven state and God will reveal Himself to you. You will be spiritually alive because of God's spirit living in you forever.
