well, I like everything.. I don't know why your trying to be more 'punk' but I would say, dress in a way that your comfortable with. You will feel invincible if your comfortable with who you are and what your wearing.

First of all if your even asking this question your a posser and it doesnt matter what you do. But in the sake of your social life...1.Studs,English 77/Cone studs, pyramid studs, spike studs, ect. 2. Leather jacket is a must. Put your studs on it. No fancy patterns needed here just have some order to the chaos, Next on your jacket sum patches of your favorite punk bands(please make sure you listen to these bands, other punks might comment on your patches an you dont want to look like a posser). A back patch is very popular..this just consist of a large patch usualy homemade consisting of your FAVORITE band, a message to straight edge kids, Punks not dead, some thing to that extent, Although I wouldnt use punks not dead for a back patch as that is an extremly over used saying. Next on your jacket this is a great idea as it will make your jacket one of a kind and help you stand out...Paint Pens buy them at walmart, or craft strores an lots of other places. decorate by coloring maybe your pocket edges a certain color or even writing a few punk sayings..But again make sure you know what the saying means. Like oi is a working class punk remember that it might come up on a test sum day!. 3.Peg your clothes. This means taking in the seems as to make them form fitting and appear more 'homemade'. mostly done with pants an shirts sum times sweat shirts as well. Make sure you can barely get into these pants. Sum one might even need to help you the first couple times as they will be stiff. To ensure your pants are comfortable buy or find some streetchy jeans theyre elastic so they will flex with your body and movement. 4.Boots...Boots is a must. Make sure they can crush the F out of nazis skull other wise they just wont do. also ask your friends about 'lace codes' in some areas they have a 'rule' like white laces means your a skin head/white suppremise ect.. 5. Die your hair and cut it other than the usualy staight cut yuppy due. Im talking a mowhawk...NOT A FOWHAWK make sure it goes all the way down behind your head do make it end in the upper rear region that just looks F in stupid. Or be more original with your hair trihawks are cool this is when there are three rows instead of one. 6. This is my last peice of advise... just have fun being punk its when you try to hard that makes you look like an A**

and get what you like

true punk had nothing to do with fashion, but everything to do with rebelling agaisnt the things that society conforms to
by 'dressing' punk I assume you mean stuff like studs, tartan, mohawks, dyed hair, ripped pants covered in patches, vests covered in studs, safety pins, patches and badges,ect, ect
or perhaps you mean a more socially acceptable cleaner way of dressing punk
...meaning all the stupid 'punk' things that can be found in any department store todayeither way...it doesent matter
if your punk, your punk...if your not dont dress in a style because it seems popular

Punk is doing things for your self, I use to be punk before thrasher but then again what's the difference? The only thing is a went from spikey hair to long metal hair haha
