Who here knows who kurt cobain is?

Ok I've been asking a lot of my friends and only one of them know who Kurt Cobain (R.I.P.) is this made me kind of angry,so I was wondering if any of you people know who he is.

Cobain struggled with drug addiction and the media pressures surrounding him and his wife, Courtney Love. On April 8, 1994, Cobain was found dead in his home in Seattle, the victim of what was officially ruled a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. In ensuing years, the circumstances of his death became a topic of fascination and debate.

he was amazing artist, but he let the world get the best of him.
I guess hes just misunderstood by people who don't choose to learn about new things and problems people face.

I've heard his name a lot but I don't know much about him.

people have reasons for actions.
even though they may seem irrational, they are rational to the one who did it.

Yeah, I know who he was.

He was lead singer for nirvana and he killed himself b/c he had a bad start from the start he lived under a bridge w/no parents when he was 11 and started heoine at the age of twelve.We had to learn about him in health class for the suicidal unit.I personally think that UGLY MENTAL courtney love hired someone or had something to do w/ it.hope this kinda helps...

Actually, he first took heroin because he suffered from acute ulcers in his stomach, all the way from his esophogus to his lower intestine. He claims the drug helped the pain, which could very well be true. If you check out the book of his journals, it talks a lot about committing suicide just to end the pain of the stomachaches he would get.

yes, I am a huge fan! I love him, he was such a mysterious, amazing man. And wow, could he write a song! RIP Kurt Cobain.

after all he did do the cover for 'Incesticide'

Poor kurt. He had a troubled childhood, got famous for Nirvana, and then it all got too much. Cool guy, but.

ugh. My son as talking about Nirvana the other day and so I mentioned Kurt and how he killed himself, and he had no idea what I was talking about...

...so yah, I think a lot of teens who are really into rock don't know who he was.

Of course, Kurt Cobain is practically my hero.

I remember Nirvana songs from when I was like 3,4, and 5. I didn't know who Kurt Cobain was though, until I was 14, and when I found out he had killed himself, it was so sad, because those songs remind me of when I was little, road trips, etc.

Toadaly,I don't know how anyone could have a discussion about Nirvana and not know about Kurt Cobain.
