White spots?

What are the white spots on my nails? And why are they there? How can I get rid of them? Help!

I used to have white spots on my nail and I still do at times. But for me, they disappear most of the time.

I think I've heard it's something about not enough calcium in your system, but don't quote me on that.

yeah, you need calcium aka milkk.
but if you hit your nail on something, it can make a mark and it will turn white. but you might not even know you did anything. it will grow out though.
