What are these white dots on my nails?

me Asked by kylie_kole1993 11 months ago, 4 answers.

I have white dots on my nails, I'm not sure what they are. I've heard that you get them because you don't have enough calcium in your body, but I know that's bull because me and my family go through 7-10 gallons of milk a week. so if you know tell me

Hi,

Medically speaking, those little white marks that sometimes appear as dots or lines on the fingernail are known as leukonychia. There are several possible causes for the discoloration, but the most common are mild trauma, a fungal infection, skin conditions, or nutritional deficiencies.

Calcium is in milk but your body cannot use it because it is cooked. Raw milk, (that contains calcium you CAN use,) has been banned in most countries. Sucky eh? You can get calcium out of vegetables. As for the dots, can't help lol, sorry. I have them too sometimes if that helps?
