I heard a quote once...some early president said, "Make the most of the hemp seed, sow it everywhere..."...which meant, of course, to grow "marijuana" all over the place.
It's not a big deal to me...but, we've strayed a long way from this traditional American value. What president made this claim, and is it true?

Interesting fact: more "republicans" than "democrats" try marijuana, according to a 2007 Gallup poll:
