What is the best internet security programme?

From what I heear, most people I know use Norton anti virus. I personally don't need to worry about that sort of thing- not many viruses are written for Macs or Linux run computers

Kaspersky (google it) does a good job. It updates a lot more than the other wider know programs. Also as it is not so widely used, not as many people spend time trying to find exploits for it, unlike with the bigger names.

P.S. People don't often write viruses for macs because owning one is a bad enough punishment on its own.
